Acknowledging where we are Mountain Biking
Alaska is vast and we are only scratching the surface in the Southcentral Region. There are plenty more special pockets of riding in Alaska, spanning from Southeast to the Interior. The Anchorage Bowl has an incredible trail system, with 100 miles of trails to choose from, all within city limits. Our trips are on the traditional lands of the Dena’ina Athabascans. Anchorage is home to the K’enaht’ana, the Indigenous people of Nuti (Knik Arm), who today are members of the Eklutna (Eydlughet) and Knik (K’enakatnu) tribes.
Our Philosophy
Alaska Bike Adventures’ focus is on the riding experience and not the technicality of the trail. Although we do ride the hard stuff, our main goal is to allow you the best experience possible. This means setting the bar to the right level for each individual, from hearty beginners to experienced mountain bikers.
In addition to leading group rides, the owners of Alaska Bike Adventures believe in trail stewardship, community, assisting with trail work parties, awareness, and overall stoke throughout the summer with Singletrack Advocates. It is important for us to give back and have a healthy community to promote great trails from paved to soft surface trails.

“Grande took me and some friends out for a fat bike ride in -5 degree weather - she took care of bikes, snacks, had extra warm clothes and hand warmers for everyone! She checked in on everyone frequently so we’d each be safe and we all had THE BEST TIME.”
